I've been working with computer and data networks for over 30 years, covering everything between and including OSI layers 1 and 7. Last more than 10 years I've been mostly working with network and application security. Different employers have made it possible to see the ITC world under many lights: a corporate customer, a start-up, ICT and security sales and support, an ISP...

My best friend is Wireshark. Others closely following are Ethernet, TCP/IP, different L7 protocols, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, PKI, DNS, MFA, routing/switching, application delivery, firewalls, SIEM, UTM, Cisco, F5, Linux, Unix, bash, LAMP, SNMP, syslog, tcpdump, presentation clicker & HDMI/VGA converter.

My passion is developing / analyzing / troubleshooting network and security-related challenging stuff.
